"Manticore Mantle" Magnetic Floating Shelf - Big Leaf Maple Burl Wood

280.00

This magnetic floating shelf is fit to be a fireplace mantle and is a beast, so we named it "Manticore Mantle".  This unique floating shelf has four 1-1/2" diameter super strong neodymium magnets on the back that each have 112 lbs of holding force!

This is our large sized floating shelf. These shelves are meant to hold your whimsical pieces of art, gems & minerals and air plants. They make great altars. They do hold quite a bit of weight. Always be careful to not pinch your finger when mounting to your steel surface. The magnets are at full strength with direct contact with steel.

To install this shelf on your wall, use the included countersunk washers and steel screws. The magnets are set into the back side of the shelf at a depth equal to the washer so that it snaps into place securely. If you choose to mount to your refrigerator or other sheet steel surface, unscrew magnets to be flush with the back of the shelf. They are easy to adjust. (Do not place loose washer on magnet, it is nearly impossible to get it off).

These shelves are crafted from a limited supply of beautiful wood that we reclaimed from a furniture maker. This is highly figured and prized Big Leaf Maple Burl Wood from a private forest in Southern Oregon.
